ABOUT ME
My Story
I have been a teacher for many years and have transformed my busy life by becoming a reflexologist. I love the relaxing benefits of the therapy and get almost as much from giving treatments as the clients do from having them. I am also a mum with a grown up son, and dog mum of a very cute fluffy dog! The other passions I have are music, singing regularly in a local choir.
I live in Downend, Bristol working from my home. I also work on some Fridays at The Castle Clinic in Thornbury . Additionally I have some availability for mobile therapy sessions within the Downend area on Mondays.
As a reflexologist I am up to date with the very high standards of the International Institute of Reflexologists, holding a diploma from them (qualifying with distinction). I also have a City and Guilds level 3 diploma in Reflexology, and Physiology and Anatomy.
I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists, which also provides me with insurance to practice and regular opportunities for CPD (Continued Professional Development).
I have volunteered for MacMillan at Southmead Hospital. I had to undergo extensive training for this and really enjoyed being part of an amazing team, bringing the relaxation benefits of reflexology to people living with cancer.
